Lauraine Alden started making beaded jewelry in the 1960s and has since turned her childhood hobby into a thriving local business. Inspired by the street artists of Telegraph Avenue, She founded Laurainbo in the early 80s after investing in a small selection of Swarovski Austrian Crystals. Her crystal prisms are embellished with a variety of unique bead patterns and refract light, creating hundreds of rainbows that bring healing energy, positivity and good feng shui to any room.
The small but mighty team at Crow Canyon is passionate about enamelware. Since 1977, they’ve been creating handmade and handpainted steel and porcelain kitchenware using techniques that date back hundreds of years. Their collection of enamelware pairs the centuries-old practice of enameling with modern day designs, resulting in kitchenware that is as durable as it is beautiful. Crow Canyon has a wide variety of products to choose from, including plates, mugs and baking dishes.
Since 1988, Amber Lotus has used their collection of spiritual calendars, journals, coloring books and greeting cards to celebrate and share the diversity of world cultures as well as the beauty of the natural world. Originally founded as a means to generate funds for the preservation of culture in Tibet, Amber Lotus has since expanded their mission. While they still contribute to Tibetan relief projects, they’ve focused a number of their recent efforts on environmental stewardship. As a carbon-negative company, Amber Lotus is always looking for creative ways to mitigate climate change. Over the past decade, they’ve planted over 750,000 trees to offset the carbon they produce. Additionally, all of their paper comes from sustainably managed forests and recycled materials.
