Description
Our Fairfax store is seeking a Part Time Produce Clerk for the evenings.
Work in our 100% Certified Organic Produce department! Working with organic produce is a very rewarding experience, as you handle beautiful, fresh product, learn about the farms, inform customers, learn about whole food nutrition, and build beautiful, colorful displays.
Responsibilities
* Provide generous, friendly and informative customer service
* Stocking & maintaining full displays
* Organizing produce walk-in fridge
* Prepping product
Qualifications
* Previous high volume customer service experience
* Basic knowledge of produce: identification, nutrition, cooking, etc.
* Alignment with the organic food movement
* Must be in good condition and be able to regularly lift up to 50 lbs, stand on concrete all day, regular reaching
* Basic knife experience and skills
* Basic English required, Spanish skills a plus
