Summary

We’re raising our glasses to celebrate wines of a higher standard. Good Earth is proud to offer over 300 wines made from Certified Organic or Biodynamic grapes, and our Specialty team is back this year to recommend their favorites for the 2025 holiday season.

CANARD DUCHENE P181

From their certified organic vineyard P181, Canarde Duchene produced the first organic Champagne in France. Aged for three years, this blend of Chardonnay, Pinot Meunier and Pinot Noir is golden in hue and delicate with hints of apple, pear, white flowers, and almond on the nose. A great party starter, this wine pairs well with almost anything.

DOMaine laporte sancerre le rochy

From the flinty soils of Sancerre, this lovely Sauvignon Blanc is aged in stainless steel on lees. Pale gold in color, it boasts a high mineral content and a touch of salinity. With notes of passion fruit on the nose and a round liveliness on the palate, it pairs perfectly with young cheeses, white meats, seafood, and vegetables.

frog’s leap “shale & stone” chardonnay

One of our favorites at Good Earth, this wine is full in body, but mineral driven and fresh on the palate. It is aged in concrete and a touch of French oak with creamy lees. Try it with aged cheese, roasted poultry, and vegetables.

quivira black boar zinfandel

This rich Zinfandel is made with grapes sourced from Anderson Ranch and Wine Creek Ranch vineyards, where wild boars roam and nibble on the grapes. Ruby in color, it features earthy notes of plum, blackberry, and currant that lead to dark chocolate and caramel on the palate, with balanced acid in the long finish. This bold pick can stand up to rich meats, stews, and pasta dishes.

aVigonesi vino nobile di montepulciano

Made with 100% Sangiovese from the magical hills of Tuscany, this medium bodied wine features ripe cherry, rich plum, and precise acidity on the palate with balanced tannins. Aged in both Slovenian and French oak, we recommend pairing it with mature cheeses, cured meats, and all things Italian.
