Summary

Inspired by the foraging walks of her youth, Jenny Eu launched her line of nourishing and delicious plant- based milks in 2013, and named the company Three Trees as a nod to the forest and its gifts.

Founder of Three Trees, Jenny Eu, developed her love for plant-based foods at a young age. Growing up, Jenny’s grandmother would take her hiking in Taiwan’s mountain forests, where they gathered leaves, seeds, and roots to take back to grandma’s kitchen. There she brewed soothing teas or sweet soups, all the while telling Jenny about the health benefits of the various leaves and seeds they had collected. Jenny tasted everything and marveled at how the forest held such flavorful and nutritious things. Inspired by the foraging walks of her youth, Jenny launched her line of nourishing and delicious plant- based milks in 2013, and named the company Three Trees as a nod to the forest and its gifts; it is inspired by the Chinese character for forest 森 which is created by combining three tree 木 characters. Over the years, Three Trees has expanded into stores across the country, and now offers 5 unique products including Oat & Seed Oatmilk and Black Sesame Almondmilk.

The team at Three Trees is on a mission to help people eat more real, nourishing plant-based foods. All of their plant-based milks are crafted with whole, organic nuts and seeds, making them naturally high in micronutrients like vitamin E, manganese, magnesium, vitamin B2, and phosphorus. They never use additives like gums, fillers, and oils in their products. Instead Three Trees plant-based milks get their rich, creamy texture from the high quantity of nuts and seeds used in every bottle.

Three Trees also has an eye on sustainability. They source certified organic ingredients from California farmers, and they give priority to almond growers who are taking steps to optimize water usage. Some of their almond farmers are utilizing underground drip irrigation to reduce evaporation and water run-off. Additionally, they recently announced that they are moving all of their products into packaging made from 100% recycled plastic, ensuring that no new plastic is created to package their product.

Good Earth is proud to feature all 5 of Three Trees plant-based milk offerings in our Refrigerated section.
